* 投稿摘要: Research background It became important of uric acid measurement and only non-enzymatic method is available for over the counter usage. However, interfered by many medicines and biological material have not been evaluated for non-enzymatic uric acid methods. Objective The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance of a commercial available uric acid monitoring system. Materials and Methods BeneCheck PLUS multi-monitoring system for glucose, uric acid and total cholesterol was used to evaluate the uric acid measurement function such as precision, interference, hematocrit, hemolysis of blood effect and clinical validation. Results The precision of three levels of venous blood samples and coefficient variation were 45 mg/l, 2.9%, 72 mg/l, 3.1% and 135 mg/l, 2.0% respectively. Sample with 30% and 55% of hematocrit were acceptable when measured with BeneCheck. Acetaminophen showed a high interference (66.8%/200 mg/l test level) but with a 13.7%/30 mg/l interference. Hemolysis blood samples bias% was within -3.1% for BeneCheck but was -45.9% for the sample with 75 g/l lysed hemoglobin by centralized instrument. Total 187 samples with uric acid range from 40 mg/l to 123 mg/l were collected and 86.1% and 95.2% of tests within ±15% and ±20 % bias%. Conclusion Both finger and venous blood samples were suitable for uric acid measurement by BeneCheck. Based on the results of precision, interference and accuracy study, we concluded that BeneCheck uric acid monitoring system was suitable for users or professionals to monitoring their uric acid concentration or screening uric acid of patients.
