* 投稿摘要： Aim：Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are among the most common bacterial infections for all ages.It will be to raise success rate for antibiotic treatment When the laboratory to provide a rapid and accurate reporting of urine cultures. To count the isolation rate of the top three strains from positive urine culture and analyze time of microbial identificationand antibiotic susceptibility testing from VITEK2systems in our laboratory, respectively：Escherichia coli (56.46％；3.73h/8.06h)、Klebsiella pneumoniae(5.60％；4.32h/8.42h)、Candida albicans (5.49％；no data).Adjust to work content,When used together with reliable instrument effectiveness to obtain urine microbiological reports in a timely manner.Method：With instrument effectiveness and two-shift system：1、All of positive urine specimen were boarded at 9-10 am by VITEK2 system to identification and susceptibility test.2、The night-shift staff will be reported the results at period of 6-10 pm on the same day from specimen were boarded with effect from April 2014.Results：1、Analysis calculated for the average verification time of urine report from January 2008 to March 2014 and from April 2014 to December 2014 were 57.76hours and 48.45hours,respectively.That was shortened 9.31 hours.2、The total of urine culture were 5847 specimens while April 2014 to December 2014,the positive rate was 48.84％(2856specimens),of which 36.41% (1040 specimens) were reported earlier on the same day.3、The most of isolates were reported earlier on the same day which was E coli for 69.42％,followed by K.pneumoniae and Enterococcus spp.were7.98％and4.23％,respectively.Discussion：Because of the major cause being responsible of UTIs cases are Enterobacteriaceae, with instrument effectiveness and two-shift system, therefore 36.41% of results were reported earlier on the same day. These data also shows that the isolates of Candida spp. from urine specimen are increasing, and it took the laboratory hours to identificat.It will be improve the turn-around time of the reports from positive urine culture when the laboratory introduce MALDI-TOF or chromogenic agar.
