* 投稿摘要: Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), an endogenous substance in the human body, is one of three common date rape pills. GHB is a colorless and odorless liquid that can be easily concealed by recreational users by addition to any beverage. Use of GHB to facilitate a sexual assault is another illegal use. Because GHB is eliminated from the body rapidly, it presents a challenge for clinical and forensic applications that endogenous levels and exogenous levels of GHB need to be differentiated. GHB need to be recognition by investigators difficult and the detection dependent on the timely report of the incident. Based on the analysis of urine samples before, this study was designed to determine endogenous levels of GHB in salivary fluid by analysis of samples voluntarily provided by 60 subjects. This method based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) had developed for determination of GHB. The limits of detection (LOD) and quantitation (LOQ) obtained via this approach were 0.05 and 0.2 μg/mL, respectively. The calibration curve exhibited linearity for all analyses with an upper limit of linearity of 10 μg/mL. The mean concentration of GHB was 0.2 μg/mL (0.05~1.75 μg/mL) in salivary fluid. The results indicate that the concentration of endogenous GHB in salivary fluid concur with the suggested cut-off levels at 4 μg/mL.
