* 投稿摘要：	Since ancient times, mushrooms have been used as an important nutritional food and therapeutic item throughout the world on account of their composition. Agaricus blazei Murrill (ABM) is a mushroom native to Brazil, and widely cultivated in Japan for its medicinal uses, so it is now considered as one of the most important edible and culinary medicinal biotechnological species. It was traditionally used to treat many common diseases like atherosclerosis, hepatitis, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, dermatitis and cancer. Since the use of ABM in herbal medicines is increased, toxicity studies are warranted to confirm the safe use of ABM. Ten (10), 5 and 0.1 mg /per mouse doses of Agaricus blazei Murrill daily were administered by oral gavage to mice for approximately 90 days. The effects on clinical observations, clinical pathology, and histopathology were evaluated. There weren't any significant changes in brain, heart, kidney, liver, spleen, adrenal gland, testes or ovaries tissues visually; Agaricus blazei Murrill hasn’t any notable change. No significant differences were found in hematology and serum biochemistry parameters among the control and treatment groups. These results suggest that the no-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) of the extract for male and female mice is considered to be 400 to 500 mg/kg/day (10 mg /per mouse doses).
