* 投稿摘要： Airborne bacteria and fungi are important biological components of indoor bio-aerosols in medical laboratories. Many studies have been carried out in different environments in the past decades. Airborne bacteria and fungi can be the cause of a variety of infectious diseases as well as allergic and toxic effects. High concentrations of bacteria and fungi in the atmosphere might result in biological air pollution and potentially diseases. Temperature, RH and human activity are the major factors affecting the airborne bacteria and fungi concentrations and size distribution. The aim of this study was preliminary to characterize the indoor bioaerosols (bacteria and fungi) in medical laboratories. Airborne bacteria and fungi were collected by the 1-stage Andersen impactor at the sampling area in school. Temperature, relative humidity and CO2 were detected by handheld particle counter (HHPC-6). In the present study, we can conclude that the major contributors to the indoor environments in medical laboratories, respectively, were Cladosporium, Penicillium, Aspergillius, Fusarium, Alternaria, Yeastl. Cladosporium was the most dominant fungal group in the present study. The result of this study was similar with the previous studies. Above 91.4％ of bio-aerosols were Gram positive indoors. However, the bacteria and fungi concentrations of part of the surveyed environments exceeded the Taiwan indoor bio-aerosol guideline. It may be a critical factor in the investigation of the association between their occupational exposure and health effects.
